Associated Artists
We are eager to share our extensive experience and expertise - organizational, artistic, and business-focused - with interdisciplinary artists.
Although not every collaboration will become a full production or co-production, we offer tailored support. This ranges from expertise, coaching, and network access to production assistance and, where possible, additional funding. All of this is done in collaboration with the partners that the makers themselves bring on board.
TIMO TEMBUYSER
Artist Timo Tembuyser (Belgium, 1991) is a singer, performer, composer, and theatre maker working within the music-theatre landscape of the Netherlands and Belgium. He graduated in 2019 from the Performance programme at the Maastricht Academy of Performing Arts and trained as a vocalist at Codarts Rotterdam. Timo has worked for many years as musical director with Nicole Beutler and, together with Helene Vrijdag, forms Studio Sibling: a duo creating genre-bending vocal performances. Timo won the 2025 Musical Award for his leading role in The Last Five Years by NANOEK. In 2026 he presents his work Isle of Eros in NBP's double-bill FUTURE VOICES.
LUCINDA WESSELS
Lucinda Wessels (1990) is a dancer, maker, and performer with a distinctive movement language that flows between hip hop, contemporary dance, and performance art. She has performed with companies such as Dutch National Ballet, ISH Dance Collective, and The Ruggeds. She's no stranger to Nicole Beutler Projects: Wessels previously appeared in ROLE MODEL and OUR HOUSE IS ON FIRE. In 2026 she presents her work Fluid Figures in NBP's double-bill FUTURE VOICES.
As a maker, Wessels brings together different disciplines. Her work includes short films (Cinedans), a site-specific performance developed through Het Atelier at Oerol and Over het IJ, a visual dance performance (ISH Open Nights), and a VR experiment in collaboration with ICK. Her artistic practice moves fluidly between styles and identities, inviting audiences to question existing frameworks.
Alongside her work as a performer and creator, Wessels is active as a teacher and choreographer, including at the Academy of Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam. As a queer artist, she draws strength from the “in-between spaces” of disciplines and scenes, a place where her versatility comes fully into play.
ABOUT FELIX SCHELLEKENS
Felix Schellekens (1990) has been an essential part of our organization for already a decade. As a dancer, performer, and singer, we have shared a journey of growth, adventure, and creative exploration. In 2024 he created his first solo vanishing acts with us. From 2026 Felix is part of the ITA ensemble.
Felix studied at the Amsterdam School of Mime and performed with us in 8: METAMORPHOSIS and NOW WE ARE EARTH. In addition, he has worked with various renowned companies and was nominated for a Louis d’Or for Weg met Eddy Bellegueule by Eline Arbo under Toneelschuur Producties. His great sensitivity and playfulness, intertwined with sober imagery, encourage the audience to feel rather than think.
GENEVIEVE MURPHY
Our collaboration with the Scottish composer Genevieve Murphy (1988) started in 2017 with New Makers Grant from FPK (Fonds Podiumkunsten). Murphy and Beutler share a connection in how they both combine composition and performance. While Beutler's work starts from the body and movement, Murphy begins with music.
Murphy studied music and composition at the conservatories of Glasgow, Birmingham, and The Hague. She lives and works in Amsterdam. In her artistic practice, she combines performance and visual arts with contemporary classical music.
Murphy’s compositions and performances have been featured at venues such as Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Stedelijk Museum, Sectie C Eindhoven, Music Showroom SC Zagreb, ESC Graz, La Fenice Theatre Venice, MAXXI Rome, and Gaudeamus Utrecht. She has collaborated with groups such as Slagwerk Den Haag, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra’s Camerata, the Storioni Trio, Ex Novo Ensemble, and the International Ensemble Modern Akademie Frankfurt.
In addition to composing for various music, visual art, and theater projects, Genevieve tours throughout Europe with traditional and improvised pieces for the bagpipes. She also performs with musicians like Andy Moor (The Ex) and Terrie Hessels.
